Earlier this evening, representatives from the Supporters Consultative Group (SCG) met with Paul Fletcher, Ken Sharp and Mark Davies, at the clubs request, to provide information and views from supporters on what qualities it was felt the next manager of the Sky Blues should have.
This followed on from similar sessions with other groups, where their views were also sought, thus giving the Selection Panel have the best possible feel for what supporters and investors in the Sky Blues wish to see from the next manager.
We were also informed that the selection panel who will interview the candidates and ultimately make the decision on the next manager, will be a balanced one with no one person holding sway.
It must be stressed that this is a recruitment exercise in every sense and as such, the full criteria shown to the group must remain confidential. However it would be fair to report that many of the views on the qualities that have been aired on the forums, websites and letters are covered within those that the club are seeking from the new manager.
Some of these attributes sparked some lively debate, whilst there were also some additions to those already listed by the club. However the list is a comprehensive one and if the recruitment process succeeds in finding a manager that fits many of these then there may, just may, be good times ahead.
