Hall who said he is in the best form of his Coventry City career told the CET: "Obviously Gids is having a bit of bad luck still and I don't wish that on him at all and I want him to be fit so that we are both fighting for the position.
"But at the moment I am trying my best to keep myself fit because the manager hasn't got another left-back. " I feel I am doing reasonably well so hopefully even when Stuart is fit I can keep my place and keep playing to the standards that I have set.
"I do hope Gids gets fit sooner rather than later because I have been in that position before when you have so many injuries and it can get to you, but hopefully he is on his way back now, so fingers crossed."
