Coventry City defender Nathan Cameron has said that Marlon King taught him a lot during their time as team-mates.
Cameron, who was back in the team for Tuesday’s draw against Crystal Palace, could face the Birmingham City forward tomorrow at the Ricoh Arena (12.30pm kick off)
Speaking to the CT’s Andy Turner, Cameron said: “We used to sit next to each other in the dressing room and he was a great mentor for me.
“He taught me a lot about the game and playing against me in training, he did score a few goals past me to be fair, but you learn from players like that who can score from anywhere in the box and we have to be alert to him tomorrow.
“But not just him, the whole team because it is a massive game for us and we need to put in a big performance.”
“I am hoping I keep my place and if I am up against him I know his game, what he wants to do and where he likes to run and the kind of player he is, so hopefully that will benefit me going into the game. “But it’s up to the manager whether he sticks with me. “
