Coventry City supporter Marlon Devonish came through the qualifying heats of the 100m in the Commonwealth Games to reach the final.

A second place in his Second Round heat with a time of 10.21 earned the Olympic Gold Medalist a place in the Semi-Finals. There he finished fourth with a time of 10.27.

Katy Sexton, daughter of former City boss Dave, finished last in the 50m Backstroke Final. She has qualified for the final 200m Backstroke final.
