Mark Marshall has said that it is good to back playing again.
The winger has returned to the game on a deal for the rest of the season following a two year ban and Marshall who was a substitute for Coventry City in their 2-1 win at Bristol City on Tuesday night told the Coventry Telegraph's Andy Turner: “It was an unbelievable feeling going on against Bristol City the other night – to be honest I had to pinch myself..
“Being out for so long and getting the opportunity to play again was a very good feeling.
“I was sitting on the bench watching the football the lads were playing and I was thinking ‘thank God that I came here, because this is the sort of team I want to play in – a team that passes the ball.’
“The manager plays with a lot of energy in the side and he wants players who can attack, and I think I bring that.
“I want to go places and this club seems like it’s going in the right direction. I can’t explain my hunger and desire to get out there.
"Sometimes you can try too hard to do well and end up being erratic so I need to stay calm and controlled, and go out and express myself.
“I am happy and delighted to be back, especially a club like Coventry with its history.”
