With Stern John on the verge of going on loan to Derby County with a view to a permanent move when the transfer window reopens, Coventry City Assistant manager Adrian Heath has intimated that the Trinidad & Tobago striker staying at CCFC may not be the best move for all concerned.
Said Heath: I don't think Stern has done as well as his ability would suggest. "We have seen glimpses of it in the first team. The goal that got us out of jail against Wolves last year and one or two he has scored.
"But a change might do him good. I am disappointed it hasn't worked out for him because I thought he would be a terrific asset to us.
