Coventry City loanee Chris McCann has said that it was the end product which let down the goalshy Sky Blues who drew 0-0 with Bury.
McCann told Laura Hunter: “Obviously not the result we wanted, especially at home, we want to be walking away with three points. We struggled to get our passing game going tonight. Ultimately we didn’t create enough in the final third, but we’ve taken a point.
“We got Jodi and Reidy on in the second-half and things started to open up, on another night we could have had a couple of goals.
“Just that end product let us down. Reidy got in to some nice positions, and Dion got down the right and hit the side netting. A bit of composure is what we need and we won’t be far off.”
