There is uncertainty as to how much longer Coventry City will have Jordan McGuire-Drew on loan.
The loanee from Brighton & Hove Albion has had his appendix out and had his stomach muscles damaged.
The midfielder has returned to Brighton to do his rehabilitation and it is now anyone's guess as to how long he will be out.
Mark Robins told the Coventry Telegraph: “He’s had appendicitis and had his appendix out and they damaged his stomach muscles in the process so he will be out for a long while.
“Honestly, anything that could go wrong goes wrong for us. It’s ridiculous.
“He’s asked for his stuff to be sent back down to Brighton where he’s gone back down to rehabilitate so I don’t know if we’ll see him again or not.
"We will see how long that takes.”
