According to the Shields Gazette, Newcastle United manager Steve McLaren is minded to let Adam Armstrong stay on loan at Coventry City.
The paper quotes McLaren as saying: “There’s a lot of clubs coming in from higher up.
“We just think it’s an education for him (at Coventry). He could go higher up, might play, might not. Will he get the coaching? You don’t unless you play. It’s important to us."
