Coventry City defender James McPake has said that he is over his back injury and ready for the new season.
Speaking to Sky Blue World, McPake said "It's been tough, especially the fact that I've basically done nothing for the last six months. So this week has been hard, but a good hard because when you're out for that long you appreciate it a bit more.
"Injuries are without a doubt the hardest part of football and it's how you cope with them.”
Speaking about the training complex at Vale de Lobo, McPake said: "It's a great setup and the pitches are great. All the top clubs use it. The heat's just an absolute killer, but its good - you're working harder. We're not here for a holiday, and they made us aware from the start we're here to work.”
