Coventry City midfielder Gary McSheffrey feels that the Sky Blues should have seven points, which would be enough for them to top the League One table.
Speaking to the CT's Alan Poole, McSheffrey said: “We’ve got three points now but it should be a minimum of seven.
“We were cruising against Bury and we should have been out of sight at half-time. If we’d seen it out for 20 minutes or so I’m sure we would have gone on to win comfortably but the penalty gave them loads of confidence and we just weren’t streetwise enough.
“It looked as if we got a bit nervous – we weren’t as comfortable in possession in the second half – and from the outside that maybe seems like a mental thing.
“But we just need to be more ruthless at both ends of the pitch. You know that even if you’re on top the opposition will have a spell in the game but we should be good enough to deal with that – stay goal-side and keep them quiet.”
