Gary McSheffrey said he was delighted to be awarded the Coventry City Goal Of The Season 2010/2011 for his strike away at Burnley.
Speaking to Sky Blue Player, McSheffrey said "Obviously it's nice to get an award. It was a bit of a stop start season for me at times but I'll accept it and take what's happened and build on it for next season.
“To be fair it's been a while since a goal like that went in so it's nice to get that self belief back that you know you stil have that in your locker but I still didn't think it would win goal of the season.
"Carl Baker scored a great goal and to be honest I thought that would win it, but I'm not going to lie, it was nice to get it."
