Gary McSheffrey's new role is allowing him to score goals says Coventry City Caretaker boss Andy Thorn.
Speaking to the News Of The World following yesterday's 2-0 win over Watford in which McSheffrey scored his second goal in three matches, Thorn said: "McSheffrey had a deeper role and he has thrived on it. He has so much quality he can score goals like that.
"If you keep doing the right things and you get the best out of your players then eventually it will turn up for you.
"I've just said to them 'How does that feel?' It's a long time since we've felt like that - they were chuffed to bits."
