The mediation called for by Lord Justice Flaux last November at the appeal in the High Court in the case between the companies running Coventry City FC in the Otium Entertainment Group, Sky Blue Sports & Leisure and the Avro Master Trust against Coventry City Council and Arena Coventry Limited, owned by Wasps, is expected to take place this month.
Despite, many City supporters calling for the legal action to be ended, Otium, Sky Blue Sports & Lesure and the Caymen Islands based Arvo Master Trust have blundered on and at the last appeal, a High Court judge has said that mediation needs to happen.
According to the Coventry Telegraph's Katie Hallam, a mediator has been appointed and the parties involved will meet this month in order to try and find some common ground in the row which sees Sisu trying to get Wasps, who have said that if the legal action is not ended, they will not entertain City playing at the Ricoh Arena for the 2019/2020 season to pay £30 to Coventry City Council, claiming that they paid too little for the arena complex in 2014.
If a compromise cannot be reached then a second Judicial Review will go ahead.
