Former Coventry City player and manager Micky Adams has signed a new contract with Port Vale.
Adams, who watched a number of City games at Sixfields last season but made it clear that the Sky Blues should be playing back in Coventry at the Ricoh Arena, has signed a twelve month rolling contract with the Potteries based club.
“I’m delighted to have signed a new contract at the club, after extensive talks with the chairman and I’m very happy to commit myself to the club again," Adams said to the Port Vale club website.
“Next season we want to progress on what was a brilliant season last year, no-one wants to rest on their laurels we all want to push on and progress.
"We have a number of new players hopefully going to sign for the club, and more importantly we’ve had existing players renewing which is excellent news for everyone as it means the clubs in good shape for the coming season.”
