Coventry City forward Lukas Jutkiewicz remains very much on the wanted list for Middlesbrough manager Tony Mowbray.
Middlesbrough tried during the summer transfer window to land City's leading goalscorer but could not afford to offer an increased bid after the deal to take Matty Bates to Swansea fell through and City's owners had turned down an initial £1m bid.
However, Mowbray is now understood to have money available for the transfer window which opens on Sunday and is expected to make a bid for Jutkiewicz.
