After scoring two goals for Malta in their international against the Central African Republic, former Coventry City striker Michael Mifsud hit a hat-trick on Tuesday night for his club Valetta.
Mifsud was playing in the Maltese Super Cup, the Maltese version of the Community Shield against Floriana and had two goals ruled out for offside before he scored in the 36th minute.
In the 67th minute, he was brought down for a penalty which he converted and he completed his hat-trick with an 81st minute and shot past Floriana keeper Bartolo to give his side a 3-0 win and their second successive Community Shield.
