Mifsud's Ranking Full Stop

Coventry City's Michael Mifsud enhanced his burgeoning reputation with the top score of the week in The Actim Index, the official player ratings system of the Coca-Cola Championship.

The Maltese international has been in terrific form since stunning Manchester United with a double in the Carling Cup at the end of September and another brace in the 3-1 win at Stoke earned him an impressive 53 points.

The tally saw Mifsud rise to 41st in the new Actim Index rankings and the striker also had the joint-fifth best individual match score of the season so far.

Sky Blues team-mate Michael Doyle remains the top-ranked City star just three places and two points above his colleague - nicknamed The Mosquito - with an Index score of 172.

The Actim Index is calculated using a unique mathematical formula that rates each player's contribution be it goals, shots, passes, dribbles, tackles, crosses, saves, clearances, blocks, interceptions, assists, clean sheets, time on the pitch or number of points gained by the team with marks deducted for red and yellow cards.
