Coventry City manager Tony Mowbray has said that he is mindful of protecting his assets after there has been interest in Reice Charles Cook.
Stoke City are one club who have had the keeper, who is out of contract at the end of the season, watched and Mowbray said to the Coventry Telegraph: "We are constantly looking at players' contracts and if you have young talent and people you believe in you should tie them down.
"But you only have so much money to spend so it's a fine balancing act with players you have got.
"For me they are just young players but we are mindful of protecting our assets."
