Mr Ranson, who has been boosted by the season ticket sales which are creeping towards the 9,000 mark, told the CT:"There will be finances available to bring in players."
"There has to be as we haven't got the strength in depth at the moment because of the players out of contract and the money being made available through those players leaving will be reinvested and more."
"We are not sitting here thinking we have got to get half-a-dozen players out before we can get any in because we have got a good nucleus; the squad is lean and mean and needs adding to and strengthening."
"We know the areas that need to be improved and what we need a bit of pace, power and goals. Aidy is well aware of that because he did his research before we met, but players like that are a rarity and cost a lot of money."
"When we set out our business plan and model we wanted to bring in a bright young manager who is going to grow with the club and work with us because we haven't got hundreds of millions of pounds to go and buy this player and that player."
"It has been quite a traumatic time over the last two and a half years, stabilising the club and turning the squad around, and maybe in Chris Coleman's defence he suffered a bit from that, but that's football, but it was a board decision to make the change and I now feel that we have the right man for the job who can help us to kick on to the next level."
