More League Experience For Craig Reid

Former Coventry City youngster Craig Reid played for 86 minutes of Stevenage's 2-0 victory at Burton Albion tonight. In front of a 1962 crowd at the Pirelli Stadium, Reid (pictured below) set up the opening goal for John Mousinho in the fourth minute.

The striker brought to Coventry from Ipswich to replace Roy O'Donovan toiled away against Football League Award winner Darren Moore, winning plenty of balls and doing well to create a 50th minute shot out of nothing when marked by two defenders, before he was replaced with four minutes of the match left.

With former City trialist Chris Day, who was on trial with the Sky Blues during the 2005 pre-season, having a good game in goal for Stevenage, it was the visitors who were the better team.

Twenty seconds after Manager Graham Westley had removed his penalty taker, Stevenage were awarded a penalty which Mousinho duly dispatched.

Callum Wilson had an eighty two minutes of Conference football experience tonight.

Wilson who is on loan at Kettering from Coventry City, played for 82 minutes of Kettering Town's 1-1 draw at Darlington.

Former City striker Iysden Christie was a 69th minute substitute.
