Coventry City have sold more than 5,000 season tickets, CEO Paul Clouting announced tonight at the Fans Forum.
Speaking about season tickets and match tickets following a question from the Fans Forum, Mr Clouting said that more than 5,000 season tickets had so far been sold and the prices meant that eleven games were free of charge more than most other clubs who normally give you five or six games free.
He felt that there was no evidence that the continued dropping of match prices led to bigger crowds and the club had to provide its manager with a budget and be run as a business.
This means striking the right balance between getting match prices right and the club being able to pay its bills and any extra revenue the club could attract would be important.
