Morecambe FC boss Jim Bentley was disappointed with the goals his side conceded in a 2-1 FA Cup Second Round defeat away to Coventry City.
Speaking to the Morecambe Visitor after the cup tie, Bentley said: “I think we played some good stuff.
“We do try to get the ball down and play. In the first half without creating plenty of chances, possession wise we weren't bad and probably played the better football.
“We've been playing like that all season but I'm massively disappointed in the way we conceded the goals and the times we did.
“For the first goal we'd had a warning from a break away from a corner and then five minutes later they've had a free run, one or two passes and it's a goal.
“That's the disappointment for me. We just lacked a little bit of know how.
“After the goal you say all you can at half-time to gee them up and then you concede after 30 seconds and give yourself a bigger mountain to climb.
“We huffed and puffed once we got the goal back through a fantastic strike from Kevin Ellison but I'm just disappointed in the manner we conceded the two goals.”
