Former Coventry City forward Andy Morrell was delighted with the side he player manages victory over Coventry City on Tuesday night.
Speaking to the Daily Post about Wrexham's 4-1 win, Morrell said:
Morrell told the Daily Post: "I've just said to them, 'if we are like that for the majority of the season, then we've got a chance of doing really well again'.
"It takes the shine off it letting a goal in at the end and it was so annoying. I say to them 'the clean sheets must start now' and it makes me feel a little bit angry because we'd done so well.
"But there are so many positives to take from the game that we've just got to make sure we put that right next time.
"I just thought the front three (Ogleby, Danny Wright and Brett Ormerod) were a real handful.
"I want to put teams under pressure in the first 15 minutes and when you have Rob and Dan, who are better facing the opposition's goal and constantly on the move, they are a handful and I thought we caused them (Coventry) problems all the way through.
"I don't think the first goal should have counted - I thought it was offside - but the ref has over-ruled the linesman.
"We had four or five really good chances in the first half and took one, but Brett slid one by the post and the keeper's made two great saves.
"The passing and the movement of the middle three (was good) and the lads at the back looked comfortable so I'm really pleased, but now we have set our standards and we can't drop below that.
"The hard work and energy the lads put in tonight was brilliant."
