Walsall and Southend United are the lasest clubs to have expressed an interest in signing Andy Morrell.
A report in Today's People claims that Southend boss Steve Tilson wants Morrell on a free transfer and internet reports have again linked the former Wrexham striker with Walsall who are managed by former City Academy boss Richard Money who told the Wolverhampton Express and Star: : "Andy Morrell has a great goalscoring record when he was at Wrexham and I'm sure a lot of clubs will be interested in a player like that. "His name is one of the names that has been discussed, but we're not close to anything right now."
Morrell Is Wanted
Morrell has been told by Micky Adams that he can look for another club despite having a year left on his City contract.
Meanwhile, Lee Fowler has joined Burton Albion on a two year contract after leaving Scarborough. The midfielder started the season with Huddersfield Town.
