Morrison Warns Of Cup Shock

Coventry City stand in captain Clinton Morrison has warned his side that a bad team performance could see the Sky Blues dumped out of the FA Cup on Saturday.

City travel to the Conference Premier side who knocked out Blackpool in the last round and Morrison said to the CT: "If we don't perform like we can do against Torquay then we are definitely in for a shock. "That was probably one of the worst games I have played in this season, last week.

"We simply weren't at the races and people can make excuses that we have got a lot of players missing but if you don't start right then you don't set the tempo right and that's what happened on Saturday.

"I watched Torquay's league game on Friday night against Wrexham and the conditions were horrendous and it was a tight little pitch and their fans made a lot of noise, so if we play like that the game could be over.

"I know people think there will be an upset but if we perform like we can do then I think we will get a result. They beat Blackpool 1-0 in the last round and it is a hard place to go because they are doing all right in the Blue Square Premier, so it will be a hard game but we won't go into it with that same mentality again.

"But you get games where you don't play that well but get three points and you take it because it has happened where we have played well and not got the win."
