Tony Mowbray has said that he sees his appointment as manager of Coventry City until the end of the season as a great opportunity.
Mowbray told the Coventry Telegraph's Andy Turner: “I see it personally as a great opportunity to take over a club that is in a false position.
“We’ve obviously got to get through these next 14 games and if that can be achieved then I would like to think it’s a club that can be repositioned where it should be.
“It’s obviously been an under-performing and under-achieving club. I’ve managed in the Midlands and played against Coventry City and felt what the stadium is like when there’s a big crowd in.
“I’ve been on a sabbatical after a tough job at Middlebrough but I have been ready to get back into the game over the last few months.
“We all want to manage at the top level and I want to one day be managing back in the Premier League. I did it in the Midlands before and I’ve managed in the Champions League and Europa League.
“Do I want to be at the bottom of League One? No, but is there an opportunity to take the club and achieve something."
