Coventry City manager Tony Mowbray has said that the City support at the Ricoh Arena for the 3-2 win against Crewe Alexandra and the atmosphere and noise they created was what drove the players on to victory.
There were long queues for collecting tickets and kick off had to be put back to 8pm to ensure that most got in before the start started.
Mowbray told BBC Coventry & Warwickshire's Geoff Foster: "I cannot emphasise it enough, the crowd really played their part.
"The noise was brilliant and they truly were the 12th man, and their support helped drive the side on to get the result we deserved in the end."
