Coventry City manager Tony Mowbray has said that everything is fine with Adam Armstrong.
There had been more speculation this week that Armstrong would be going back to Newcastle United, but Mowbray told the Coventry Telegraph:“ We’ve had some discussions with Newcastle this week and everything is fine.”
“The impression I am getting from them is he’s in the right place where he’s playing every week, scoring goals and learning his trade.”
“We have a deal until January, I would be hopeful he’ll stay but if they feel he needs to play at another level, that’s ok. But hopefully he’ll be here and set himself goal targets and help us.”
