Coventry City manager Tony Mowbray has said that Ryan Haynes has to show what he can do in pre-season.
Speaking about the left back to the Coventry Telegraph's Andy Turner, the City boss said: “I think he’s ready and he wants to push on but I need to see it really. As I said to him, he has to do it on the grass. It’s OK him coming in my office and telling me he’s growing up and more mature and that the loan benefitted him and that he feels more ready and confident about himself.
“He has to come in to pre-season and do it.
“I am going to try to create competition in all areas of the pitch so they should be ready for that. Let’s see what falls into place because we have targets for just about every position, so let’s see what we can get this summer.”
