Coventry City manager Tony Mowbray has said that there is still plenty of confidence amongst his squad whose poor performances have seen them drop to tenth in the League One table.
Speaking to the Coventry Telegraph at this mornng's press conference, the City boss said: "I have said before, this group is, first and foremost, good human beings.
"There is a robustness about them and they are hurting a lot after Tuesday’s game.
"They don’t like to lose and yet they are having to take it on the chin at the moment.
"But there are no shrinking violets shying away from it and we’ll get on the bus and go to Gillingham and try to get a result.
"The harshness of the league is we’ve played really well at times in games and yet suffered moments where we haven’t been able to take enough points to be as competitive as we’d like.
"We were winning tight games earlier in the season and we’re not doing that so much now.
"This is our professional jobs and how we earn a living and it’s hurting us all pretty bad at the moment and we’re searching for the answers.
"They can see we’re a good team and they don’t like losing.
"The dressing room is very robust.
"I’ve had teams where there’s been unrest in the dressing room but with this team the strong men in the dressing room are very positive and dominant and on board with what we’re doing".
