Coventry City manager Tony Mowbray has said he hopes his side will be able to get through the next few weeks.
The City boss told the Coventry Telegraph: “We have a similar squad to last weekend - a few players are carrying knocks, but hopefully we get through the next weeks.
“We’ve got two matches a week until the end of the month. We’ve got new signings on the way and can hopefully push on by the end of the window.
“I don’t have to protect Jordan Willis - we need to be conscious of overloading him and him playing game after game after game.
“But at the moment he’s fit and he’s OK.
“We bring players in who we think can help us win football matches. It has been a big ask to replace the likes of Armstrong, Kent and Murphy - they all hit the ground running last year.
“Kyel Reid still has to get up to speed. He missed a lot of pre-season. Lameiras has to produce week in, week out. He knows what he needs to do. He needs to keep working at his game, and he knows how to improve.
“He’s played a lot of games considering his age. Kwame Thomas will be getting game time soon. We’re working him towards full fitness.
“Jodi Jones is an exciting player - that’s why he’s here. He can excite fans but he’s still young, and we need to protect him that little bit.”
