Coventry City manager Tony Mowbray has said that the 2-1 defeat at Shrewsbury Town feels like a kick in the teeth.
Mowbray told the Press Association: "It feels like a kick in the teeth.
"I thought there were signs there that the team was back to where it can get to, particularly in the first half. The level of control was good and we created chance after chance.
"But the defending wasn't up to scratch. I wouldn't normally criticise but I feel as though the rest of the team functioned pretty well.
"We looked pretty fluent, we looked a threat, looked as if we could score goals."
