Coventry City manager Tony Mowbray is planning for the games that loanees James Maddison, Adam Armstrong and Jack Stephens will miss due to international call-ups over Easter.
Mowbray todl the Coventry Telegraph: “The Peterborough game without Stephens, Armstrong and Maddison - we’ve gone through the starting line-ups for that and the Colchester game, so we’re working on it.
“I had two or three conversations with the top people at the FA. They know our situation where we have taken young internationals who are playing in our team. You throw in that youth loans don’t count which means we can’t postpone matches.
“I think that will change in the summer because there will be no such thing as youth loans and emergency loans so, looking forward, if we do the same next season with the loan system then we should be all right in that respect.”
“We have done OK when we haven’t had the internationals in the past so let’s see and hope we can stand up on those days.”
