Coventry City manager Tony Mowbray has said that there are plenty of irons in the fire as he looks to bring in some players over the next few weeks.
The City boss told the Coventry Telegraph: “We’re having some discussions with players and their agents but there’s nothing concrete at the minute, a bit of to-ing and fro-ing but it’s ongoing.
“We have to find some players. It’s not easy but the one or two we have started talking to early are progressing all right and we’ll see if we can conclude them.
“Some people like to get things done before they go on their summer breaks because they like to know what they’re coming back to I suppose.
"And others know that if they’ve not go anything sorted they’re still being paid through July and they’re happy to sit and wait to see what comes along.
“There are plenty of irons in the fire, lots going on and some of the players are really good, so let’s see what happens.”
