Coventry City manager Tony Mowbray has said that he is relaxed about Chris McCann who will sign for City on loan on August 1st from new MLS side Atlanta United.
Speaking about McCann who is training with the Sky Blues: "It’s complicated situation. He plays for Atlanta which is a new franchise so there is lots of paperwork to be done through the FA and MLS. I am relaxed about it because he’s suspended for the opening games.
”He’s training here and we’re getting him up to speed so he can go straight in.
“He’s got a lovely left foot, had been brought in to play in midfield. He’s very versatile and can also operate as left centre-back or left-back.
“I see him as a good influence in the dressing room because he’s a player who wouldn’t have wanted to play in League One last year but got his head down and helped Wigan win promotion. He’s got great experience, he’s a good size.”
