Coventry City manager Tony Mowbray has decided not to offer Fabien Robert a contract with the Sky Blues.
The former Swindon midfielder played in City's last three pre-season games in a fortnight long trial and speaking about him to the Coventry Telegraph, Mowbray said: Fabien is not going to join us.
“He did fine while he was with us and the boy has got talent but it’s just a question of end product really.
"If you are going to play in one of those front three positions you have to score goals, you have to threaten the goal and shoot so many times. They have to be a goal threat.
“He’s played at this level before and did pretty well but I have to make a decision.”
