Coventry City manager Tony Mowbray has thanked Newcastle United for extending the loans of Adam Armstrong and Gael Bigirimana.
Speaking at this morning's press conference to the Coventry Telegraph, Mowbray said about Armstrong staying: “It’s something that’s been on the agenda for a few weeks and we’re just delighted that it’s done and we have got 20 more league games to go and let’s hope he’s got plenty more goals in those boots.”
“What was great for us was his hat-trick at Crewe because he hadn’t scored a great deal away. He always works hard for the team and you feel he has chances in every match.
“I would like to put on record my thanks to Newcastle for having faith in this club.
“We have to continue to create opportunities for him.
“I think he’s got more than 20 goals in him this season.
