Coventry City Manager Tony Mowbray has said that games are won on the training ground.
Speaking ahead of City's vital League One game at Crawley Town on Sunday, the City manager told Tom Bloomfield: "Sometimes emotions get the better of you but generally I am quite calm, I've always believed in preparation, the game is won on the training pitch, not just turning up for 90 minutes.
"I watch the players every day, in my mind if a player isn't doing anything they'll get told, it's not necessarily that they haven't tried hard enough.
"The game isn't as black and white as some players make it sound. You can't dictate or control everything.
"The goals we conceded last Saturday were terrible however, we have to deal with learning from that."
