Coventry City manager Tony Mowbray has said that he is trying to build a team to compete.
The City boss told the Coventry Telegraph: "We’re piecing it together bit by bit and trying to replace the players who have left with the right ones.
“We’re trying to build a team to compete and yet I sit here still a little bit frustrated that we’re going into another game with very young players at the back, for instance. We’re working hard behind the scenes and then we have got the loans to come in on top of that, of course.
“Hopefully people won’t judge it by next Saturday. We have a transfer window to get through, so another five weeks to make sure we get the right players in to give ourselves a chance to be successful for the first four or five months of the season before the next window.”
