Nuneaton MP Marcus Jones has secured a debate in Parliament about the future of Coventry City FC.
Many City supporters remain concerned as to where the Sky Blues will be playtng next season with the deal with the Ricoh Arena ending in the summer
With taking the Sky Blues out of Coventry yet again, likely to bring about the death of the club as the Sky Blues have still not fully recovered in terms of supporters coming back to the Sky Blues, especially for home games from when Tim Fisher moved the club to Northampton, keeping Coventry City in Coventry is imperative.
The only usable stadium for a team with the potential to fill a 32,000 capacity stadium in Coventry is the Ricoh Arena. However, whilst legal action against Arena Coventry Limited and Coventry City Council continues, any deal is going to be difficult to negotiate.
The "imminent" statement put out by David Boddy in his role as Coventry City's CEO, has not been updated from late December and today, Marcus Jones MP has tweeted that he is taking action in Parliament by holding a debate.
Pleased to have secured a debate in Parliament on the Future of Coventry City FC. An important matter for many people across #Nuneaton, Coventry and Warwickshire who are worried about the future of the Club and where it's home will be after this season. #PUSB
