Multi Ball System To Be Dropped

Football League officials are expected to drop the usage of the multi ball system. Complaints have been made to the Football League regarding an unnamed Championship side and with the Premiership having outlawed this method of speeding up play,usually to the home team's advantage,the Football League are expected to follow suit.

Talking of balls, footballs with a micro chip inside them could soon be used in the English game. Each ball is fitted with a micro-chip and both goal-lines have a magnetic strip across them and these will instantly tell the referee and assistants if the whole of the ball has crossed the goal-line. Trials of this in the FIFA U-17 Championships have gone better than expected.
