Coventry City keeper Joe Murphy has said that he is ready for this afternoon's FA Cup First Round tie against Arlesey Town.
Murphy, who has been ever present this season, is hoping to keep his place ahead of Chris Dunn and the Irishman told the CT's Alan Poole: "I could understand the decision because I have been in Dunny's situtation before. I sat on the bench for three years at West Brom and its always nice to get a game.
"You don't get many chances to play in the FA Cup and it is always exciting.
"In games like this, it could be that you hardly touch the ball, you might just be dealing with back passes. Hopefully, that will be the case against Arlesey but it can be tough to keep your concentration - if you're consistently busy it's not so bad because you're switched on all the time.
"We don't know how they will play but they will love coming to a great stadium and we won't be taking them lightly as we don't want to be the banana skin of the round.
"Everybody expects us to win but we have got to have our heads screwed on and we want to kill them off as soon as we can.
"There is not going to be a big crowd and you can feel strange in a stadium like the Ricoh, but it's up to us to create our own atmosphere.
"We've got to be professional, take the game seriously and hope we get a good result because it would be nice to get to the Third Round and see if we can get one of the big boys."
