The striker capped a good week for him with a good outing for the Republic Of Ireland against South Africa, a goal against Bristol City and a stunning performance against Sheffield United in which he also scored.
Best, who is 23 on Saturday told the CT: "At the minute, me and Clinton are scoring goals ans there is a nice little competition going on between us.
"We have got seven between us and this is the best start I have had, certainly since I have been at Coventry.
"This is the first season I have actually started with a run of games because I normally I pick up an injury just before the the first game and then I am struggling to get my fitness going again but I am going alright.
"I have got three goals and I would love to get into double figures, definitely to help the team and give myself some confidence."
