Nardiello Released

Daniel Nardiello has been released by Manchester United. The striker and son of former Sky Blue Donato, had been on loan for most of the season at Barnsley and made no secret of his desire to play for the Sky Blues who are his home-town club.

The losing FA Cup Finalists have also allowed Northern Irish keeper Roy Carroll to leave,pushing Luke Steele further up the pecking order, but have retained Eddie Johnson.
