Nathan Jones has left Luton Town to become the new manager at Stoke City.
Jones had been doing well with the Hatters, since his appointment just under three years ago, was again nominated for Manager Of The Month in December and had the best points per game ratio of any Luton manager.
Stoke, who are on their fourth manager since they sacked Mark Hughes after the FA Cup Third Round defeat at Coventry City a year ago, have been looking for a manager after Gary Rowett was sacked and have appointed Jones on a three and a half year deal.
"Nathan is an incredibly driven and passionate individual and we are delighted to have secured his services for Stoke City," Stoke owners John Coates and Peter Coates said in a statement.
"We have been following Nathan's career for some time and when we met him were hugely impressed with his clear vision as to how he will achieve success at Stoke."
