Coventry City defender Nathan Cameron is ready to take his chance again in City's first team.
Speaking to the CT, Cameron, who started the season but lost his place said:
"I went on just after their second goal after James had a strain in his back and I was just happy to get back out there after a fantastic start to the season for me.
"I have been waiting quite a long time and it's hard sitting on the bench and watching the boys sometimes because you just want to get out there, but I am involved again and it would nice to be included in the next couple of games and hopefully get a couple of starts.
"I wasn't in the squad for Leeds or the game before that but fortunately I was back for Forest and I just want to repay the manager's faith in me by putting in good performances for the team," said the academy graduate.
"James has been out a while and has had a tough time with injuries, so it has been hard for him and I think the gaffer wants to get him some games because we all know what a good player he is, and I just want to work alongside all the experienced pros here.
"I thought I did all right when I went on the other night. "I hit a couple of stray balls and in that situation when you are looking for a goal you just want to get the ball up to the front players as quick as possible.
"I tried to defend as well as I could and hopefully I can improve for the next game against Palace.
"I am not getting my hopes up too much but I would like to start the game, although I know the gaffer will check on James. "I want to play but it is up to the manager at the end of the day."
