Ndlovu, who was spotted by Bobby Gould and brought to Coventry in 1993, has been signed by Zimbabwean First Division side Highfield United. However, they have loaned him out to Black Mambas who play in that country's top flight.
Speaking at a news conference, Ndlovu said that he wanted to pass on his experience and is quoted by the BBC as saying: "The focal point of my return is development of young players, I am coming to help those young players who look up to me realise their dreams.
"With the knowledge that I have I believe I will be able to inspire some youngsters to greater heights and make other players fulfil their dreams and greatness in football. "I am grateful to be given this opportunity at the end of my career."
