MK Dons manager Robbie Neilson said that it is always important to get a result after his side beat Coventry City 1-0 at StadiumMK.
Stuart O'Keefe scored the only goal in the 51st minute after City had not defended a corner properly and Neilson told the Press Association: "I think at this stage of the season the pressure is just to get three points and not to lose the game.
"Coventry are having difficult times on and off the pitch at the moment and they made it really difficult for us
"We had a few chances in the first half and I thought we dominated the game but we didn't have anything clear-cut and that's when the tension started to build inside the ground.
"Until you get that first or second goal you're always going to be under a little bit of pressure because you're playing against a team who have got nothing to lose.
"I think we are in a situation where we are still a little bit tentative when we're in the lead.
"It's a case of making sure that we're ready for the next few games because we've got a lot of the teams around us - but it's always important to get results no matter who you play."
