Former Coventry City loanee Nathan Delfouneso has signed a new deal with Blackpool FC.
The striker has signed a one year deal with the option of another year and has made a hundred appearances for the Seasiders in two spells.
Delfounseo told Blackpool's club website: “I’ve got a lot of time and respect for the manager and he’s a massive reason for why I’m here. I’m looking forward to playing under him again. Hopefully we can have some more success.
“The club should never have been in League Two and we need to keep pushing and get this club back in the top leagues, where I feel it should be.”
Meanwhile, former Coventry City loanee Jacob Murphy was a half-time substitute for England U21's in the European Championhip game against Slovakia in Poland.
Murphy came on to help England draw level trough Mawson and then take the lead through Redmond as Aidy Boothroyd's side won 2-1 in a game where former City loanee Jack Stephens was an unused substitute.
